Modesty

receptive earth and mountain

modesty leads to success
the superior man is determined

the earth and the mountain-
modesty
he augments and he diminishes
he makes things equal

modest regarding modesty
and can cross great water

modesty finds expression-
good fortune

the superior man
carries all to its conclusion-
good fortune

modesty is not in movement

modesty of wealth before one's neighbour
attack with force

yes, set the armies marching
against one's city and country
