Gathering Together [Massing]

joyous lake and receptive earth

yes, yes, success
offerings and undertakings
good fortune

the superior man renews himself
he is ready to meet the unforeseen

confusion and regret
but you can laugh again

if, and only if you are sincere
a small offering is acceptable

gathering and sighs
some humiliation

good fortune

for those who would falter
sublime perseverance is needed

lamenting and one dirge after another
yet no blame
