Waiting (Nourishment)

abysmal water and creative heaven

wait
sincerity brings success
perseverance good fortune
cross the great water

clouds rise to the heavens-
this is the image of waiting
the superior man enjoys the necessities of life
and is happy

wait
wait in the field
abide what endures
there will be no blame

wait on the sand
give no attention to gossip
the end brings success

waiting in mud
and your enemy arrives

waiting in blood
you are in a pit

waiting at the table
there will be good fortune

one falls into the pit
uninvited guests arrive
show them honour
good fortune will follow
