Holding together

abysmal water and receptive earth

union is good
ask the oracle what you possess
and there will be no blame
uncertainty, arriving too late
brings misfortune

earth and water-
union
thus the king cultivates friendly relations
with his many lords

be true, be loyal
there is no blame
good fortune comes from outside (one's self)

be true, be loyal
inwardly
this will bring good fortune

but you hold to the wrong people

be true, be loyal
outwardly also

things hold together
the king knows when to attack
when to let go
thus the citizens need no warning

this one does not hold things together
misfortune
